Trains and buses from Geneva to Courchevel
Using public transportation will require a few transfers, and the trip takes between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the season and weather conditions.
Train lines do not reach all the way to Courchevel due to the high elevation, but the closest train and bus stations are in Moutiers. In order to reach Moutiers by train, you will need to take one of the high-speed trains from Geneva to either Chambery Challes-les-Eaux or Gare dâAix-les-Bains-Le Revard. From either city, youâll need to transfer trains. Train tickets cost from $22 to $37 for this entire route.
From Moutiers, you can ride the shuttle bus up the mountain. The ticket costs $12 and includes one carry-on, one piece of luggage, and one pair of skis or a snowboard. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi for $50. The drive up the mountain takes 30 minutes.
