Prague to Cesky Krumlov and Hluboka Castle: Guided day tour

Visitors never forget their first breathtaking vision of Hluboká. Similar in appearance to the world-famous Windsor Castle in England, the castle is surrounded by beautiful royal gardens and the English Park lined with ancient oak trees where visitors are free to stroll and soak up the grandeur of this Baroque masterpiece. The castle has a different feel than many others in the region — the darker paneled rooms with carved decorations are an outstanding feature while the guided tours show the castle as a living and functioning building with the furniture still in place in the dining rooms, library, and bedrooms. The incredibly detailed kitchen, complete with an ovens room and a baking room, provides visitors with a fascinating glimpse into the life of its royal and aristocratic residents.
