Roman Regensburg

Regensburg is situated in Bavaria, a state in southern Germany. It was known by the Romans as Castra Regina when it was founded in 179 AD as a strategic military base at the northernmost point of the Danube. Salt is an important food preservative and was important for the transportation of food up and down the rivers. Legend has it that the bridge builder and cathedral builder had a bet to see who would finish their projects first. The bridge builder made a pact with the devil in exchange for the first three souls to cross the bridge. When the bridge was completed, the builder sent a hen, a dog, and a rooster across first.

“Gonzalo de Daytrip fue nuestro conductor y fue absolutamente increíble. Hizo todo lo posible por localizarnos, ya que no teníamos buena señal en nuestros teléfonos. “Marianna nos recogió para llevarnos de Heraclión a Chania. El clima era terrible y, debido a esto, Marianna llegó unos minutos tarde. Me contactó para avisarme. Marianna vive en Chania y hizo que nuestro viaje fuera muy interesante al contarnos sobre cosas locales para hacer y ver en Chania. Una gran manera de viajar y ver algunos lugares en el camino

“No sabíamos qué esperar de este viaje y reservamos desde Australia. Inicialmente buscábamos una forma fácil de viajar de Granada a Málaga. Decidimos no perder la oportunidad de ver algo más en nuestro camino. Miguel ciertamente superó nuestras expectativas. Su inglés era excelente (lamentablemente hablamos muy poco español), y fue muy amable y servicial. Disfrutamos mucho escuchando sobre las regiones por las que pasamos y también discutiendo algunas de las costumbres locales. Miguel nos llevó a Antequera como estaba planeado y se aseguró de que pudiéramos conseguir fácilmente nuestras entradas para las atracciones sin ninguna prisa. De Ratisbona a Múnich

“Un grupo de ocho personas acabamos de completar un crucero por el Danubio desde Budapest hasta Ratisbona. Planeamos con anticipación extender nuestra estadía en Baviera y pasar unos días en Múnich. Necesitábamos transporte desde los muelles de Ratisbona hasta nuestro hotel en el centro de Múnich. Contacté con Daytrip. Esta no era una de sus rutas publicitadas actualmente, pero estuvieron encantados de proporcionar el transporte que necesitábamos. Su conductor de habla inglesa nos recogió en el muelle.
