Saint Paul de Vence
Dating back to over a thousand years, this charming medieval town is filled with art and history.
About
Saint Paul de Vence embodies French charm with its markets and local wines, art galleries, the famous Folon Chapel, the Grande Fountaine, and countless other intrigues. But it was the 20th century that gave the town its artistic identity characterized by its dozens of art galleries and the world-renowned Foundation Maeght art museum. The town is famously known for the many artists who lived in or visited St-Paul; some of whom are buried in the cemetery at the village’s southern end. It is suggested by the locals to come during the off season, as the cobblestone lanes become crowded during summer, as the town is a visitor’s favorite!
