Many knights died trying to slay this beast, terrorizing the settlement. Until one day, a shoemaker named Skuba tricked the dragon into consuming toxic gasses concealed in a sheep. The water from the Vistula River couldn't stop the burning sensation, and as a result, it died, freeing the village from terror.

In the 1900s, Bronisław Chromy constructed a statue commemorating the beast, which you can still see breathing fire every 5 minutes today!

Krakow's past

With a town now free from mythical creatures, the Vistulan tribe flourished immediately due to its strategic place on the trade route from Western Europe and the Middle East. “Gonzalo von Daytrip war unser Fahrer und er war absolut großartig. Er hat alles gegeben, um uns zu finden, da unser Handysignal nicht besonders gut war. “Marianna holte uns ab, um uns von Heraklion nach Chania zu fahren. Das Wetter war schrecklich und deshalb kam Marianna ein paar Minuten zu spät. Sie kontaktierte mich, um mich darüber zu informieren. Marianna lebt in Chania und machte unsere Fahrt sehr interessant, indem sie uns über lokale Aktivitäten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Chania erzählte. Marianna ist eine sichere Fahrerin und wir fühlten uns alle wohl mit ihrer Fahrweise und Geschwindigkeit, selbst bei starkem Regen. Sie ist eine sehr nette Person und spricht fließend Englisch. “Absolut wunderbare Erfahrung! Das war unser erstes Mal mit DayTrip, und nachdem wir die Bewertungen gelesen hatten, beschlossen wir, es auszuprobieren. “Am 3. Januar 2019 nutzten wir Daytrip für einen privaten Fahrer, der uns von Krakau nach Warschau brachte, mit einem Stopp, um die Schwarze Madonna zu sehen. Er wurde in einer kleinen polnischen Stadt geboren, wuchs aber in Krakau auf. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis wir das Gefühl hatten, nicht von einem angestellten Fahrer, sondern von einem Freund oder sogar unserem Neffen nach Warschau gefahren zu werden. Michal fuhr uns etwa zwei Stunden, um die Schwarze Madonna im Kloster Jasna Góra in Czestochowa zu sehen. Als wir ankamen, ging er mit uns hinein. Es fand gerade ein Gottesdienst im selben Heiligtum wie die Madonna statt, an dem wir drei teilnahmen. Nachdem wir das Heiligtum erkundet hatten, führte uns Michal nach draußen, um Czestochowa bei Nacht zu sehen und um den Ort zu sehen, an dem Papst Johannes Paul II. zu den Massen sprach. Michals Energie und Begeisterung, als er uns erklärte, wie es war, als der Papst dort war, brachte die Szene wirklich zum Leben. Als wir bereit waren zu gehen, hatte ich Hunger. Wir hatten noch ein paar Stunden Fahrt vor uns, also schlug ich vor, etwas zu essen. Michal fand ein italienisches Restaurant namens Manzoni in Czestochowa und wir hatten ein köstliches Essen mit unserem "Neffen". Daytrip bot hervorragende Dienstleistungen. Sie hielten uns über unsere Pläne auf dem Laufenden und Michal war eine Freude. Das Wetter war nicht gut und er war ein sehr sicherer Fahrer. Er kannte die Straßen auch sehr gut. Wir fühlten uns mit Michal am Steuer sicher. Während wir mit Michal unterwegs waren, buchte er für den nächsten Tag eine Fahrt von Krakau nach Wien, also ist er offensichtlich ein erfahrener Langstreckenfahrer. Ich kann Daytrip sehr empfehlen. Wenn Sie einen privaten Fahrer in dieser Region suchen, fragen Sie bitte direkt nach Michal. Er wird Ihre Reise besser machen, als Sie es sich vorstellen könnten.”

Alle Buchungen mit Daytrip sind Einzelfahrten. Wenn Sie eine Rückfahrt an einem anderen Datum benötigen, buchen Sie diese einfach als separate Einzelfahrt. Für eine Retourfahrt am selben Tag können Sie eine individualisierte Strecke anfragen (/custom-route). Sollten Sie länger als ein paar Stunden bleiben wollen, empfehlen wir dennoch zwei Einzelfahrten zu buchen, damit Sie den Fahrer nicht für das Warten bezahlen müssen.

Für Daytrip's privaten Service können Sie bis zu 24 Stunden vor Abfahrt kostenfrei stornieren. Für den Daytrip Pool Shuttle bieten wir 3 Ticketoptionen an: Nicht erstattungsfähig, Flexibel bei Stornierungen 24 Stunden vor Abfahrt und Super-flexibel mit Stornierungen bis zu 15 Minuten vor Abfahrt. Während Sie Ihre Buchung bis zu 24 Stunden im Voraus stornieren können, unterliegen Änderungen, die weniger als 36 Stunden vorher angefragt werden, der Verfügbarkeit des Fahrers, insbesondere in der Hochsaison.

Jeder Passagier darf einen großen Koffer (74 x 53 x 28 cm) und eine kleine Tasche (56 x 36 x 23 cm) mitnehmen. Luxusfahrzeuge können nur 2 große Koffer transportieren. Wir stellen immer das Fahrzeug zur Verfügung, das am besten zu Ihnen und Ihrem Gepäck passt. Stellen Sie also sicher, dass Sie bei der Buchung die tatsächliche Menge an Gepäck angeben, mit der Sie reisen werden.
